2025 Girls ONLY Fall Flag Football

Refund Policy: Matthews Athletic and Recreation Association (MARA) incurs various league, medical, security, uniform, insurance, and administrative fees which are not refundable to the organization. Therefore, if you withdraw your player fifteen (15) days or more before the stated registration period closes for a sport, we will provide a refund of the total registration fee, LESS A $50 Admin Fee. Otherwise, we do not provide any refunds for a player withdrawing from the program

MARA Colts Girls ONLY Flag Football

Games Start: 1/26/2025
Games End: 3/02/2025
Game Day: Sunday
Practices: On Sundays before the games (during the season)
Who Can Play: Girls (Ages 7-14) 
Where: MARA -1200 S Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105
Cost: $175 per child

 **Age divisions are based on the date of 1/15/2025 (i.e., what age will the child be on 1/15/2025) with divisions adjusted, as needed, to balance the number of players per team and division.

7v7 Registration

2024/2025 Winter 7V7

The Matthews Elite Colts 7v7 are back for the winter season!

Here are the details for the Winter 2024/2025 season:

TRYOUTS are only $20. However, you must register to tryout. 

Per player in season cost is estimated to be $275.00

You can register for either tryout date or both.

Tryouts will be held at Matthews Sportsplex on November 17, 2024 on field #3 and on December 8, 2024 on field #2.

November 17, 2024 - 10U/11U/12U 3pm to 5pm
November 17, 2024 - 13U/14U/15U 515pm to 7pm

December 8, 2024 - 10U 1030am to 12pm
December 8, 2024 - 11U/12U 1215pm to 145pm
December 8, 2024 - 13U/14U/15U 2pm to 330pm

Division ages are determine by the age of the player as of January 1, 2025. ( i.e., what age is the player on 1/1/2025?)

Practices: The 1st day of practice is in December 2024. Times & Dates: TBD

Please expect a couple of practice days during the week after Christmas.

Games are played on Saturdays between 1pm and 10pm

Games are ONLY played when the temperature is above 32 degrees

Games are against teams from all over the region as we participate in a regional 7V7 play!
