Minors Baseball -  where the kids begin pitching to each other, advancing on passed balls, stealing bases and really learning the great game of baseball.

Spring 2025 Minors assessments will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Minors 9 Year Olds:

- Player will be 9 years old before 4/30/2025

- A-L Last Name: 11:30am - 12:15pm

- M-Z Last Name: 12:15pm - 1:00pm

- Field 1 (Check-in near small concession stand)

Minors 10 Year Olds:

- Player will be 10 years old before 4/30/2025

- A-L Last Name: 10:00am - 10:45am

- M-Z Last Name: 10:45am - 11:30am

- Field 1 (Check-in near small concession stand)

*Please arrive 15 minutes early for check in.
**Coaches will send out a welcome email after the draft specifying practice dates/times as well as game schedule.

Important Dates:

Draft: Sunday, February 16, 2025

Practices Begin: Monday, February 17, 2025

Spring Opening Day: Saturday, March 15, 2025

Matthews Athletic & Recreation Association (MARA) incurs various league, medical, security, uniform, insurance, and administrative fees which are not refundable to the organization. Therefore, if you withdraw your player fifteen (15) days or more before the stated registration period closes for a sport/program, we will provide a refund of the total registration fee, LESS A $50 PROCESSING FEE.  Otherwise, we do not provide any refunds for a player withdrawing from a program.
